Founded in 1989, EON Systems was the first complete software
designed, from the ground up, specifically to solve the problems and
intricacies of a highly successful practice.
 |
Founder Derek Greenwood undertook the
study and dissection of a myriad of other software
programs as a way of selecting the proper one for his
parents' Chiropractic facility in Washington State. The
result pointed to the flaws, inabilities and
instabilities in commercial software available at the
time. His solution was to create a software system that
"really worked." Working closely with his parents to
understand the flow and subtleties of the practice, the
system was designed one-task-at-a-time and each function
completely, to its utter finish. |
Today, after a decade of successful support, the original software is
still in place in many computers. Newer, Windows-based versions, with
lightning fast response and dozens of updates since, have inexorably
been replacing them, even as their owners have sentimentally struggled
to part with their old, faithful DOS companions.
TPS 2000, The Practice Solution, is built on a flow-sensitive platform,
meaning that the software takes the user to the next logical, programmed
step in the progress of entering, servicing and billing the patient. All
the steps in between are handled magically in turn without menus,
backing out of other windows, or other complications. Perhaps the most
important aspect of TPS 2000 is the depth of its features. None of them
are short-cutted. Every feature stands alone, complete and fully
functional.
